Tens of millions hear his music...
David Vanacore
Every week, tens of millions of people hear his music, be it his mesmerizing tribal council music or his tension filled boardroom music, yet most don’t even know his name. It is the enigma of being the world’s top TV composer and another day in the life of David Vanacore. He is the man behind the music for such successful shows as Survivor, The Apprentice, Joe Millionaire, Nanny 911, Big Brother, the Contender, Martha Stewart Apprentice and Pros Versus Joes, just to name a few.
David comes from a very musical family -his brother Victor is a Grammy winner and his cousin is “The Boss”, Bruce Springsteen. David began his musical journey, at the age of 7, by studying piano. For years, David was a studio session pianist/keyboardist and toured with many well known artists. Ever the student of music, David attended Cal State University and the Grove School of Music to study composition, orchestration and conducting while continuing to refine his chops as a studio musician. A chance meeting with famed television composer, Mike Post, led to an offer as his studio keyboard player. That was his introduction into the television industry and as they say the rest is history.
